I am especially interested in how I can reach inside the top vent (which blows air out) and clean the circular wheel which has little "lips" all the way round.
I should add some more details:
It's a Carrier circa 1995, Siesta model TCA051B with carry handle.
It's a great unit...they just don't make them like this any more, because I have looked EVERYWHERE, & been unable to find one both light-weight & powerful like this.

The slots in the top are only 3/8 inches x 2 inches wide, however, so not possible to get crevice tool inside.
I don't want to really blow out because of possible mold in there.
I had the twin one to this (I have two) professionally cleaned & recharged last year,& it is working like a charm. But this one I really had to put in today because my helper is going away, so trying to figure out how to clean it while in place and unplugged.
Not sure if taking front off will do any good; trying to figure if possible & if so if it will help.

I need some contact cleaner to clean out the pots on my amp... recommended brands are stuff like Peavey's "Funk Out". When I searched up contact cleaner, it says it's just compressed air with a cleaning agent...

So could I begin with using basic compressed air like Memorex's "Non-Ozone Deplating Duster: Dust & Lint Remover" that would use for cleaning computer electrics?
ahh.. i read on you're supposed to use contact cleaner, THEN get that and the other gunk out with compressed air. suppose trying JUST compressed air at first wouldn't hurt though.

I have a hawkeye 201 for 1-3 gallon tanks. I tried wraping it in 2 towels - only making it heat up more, tryed sitting i on towels every directions possible. What do you guys do? need answers other wise Im not going to sleep tonight, unless I unplug it. Thanks
the end of the hose is connected to the little cleaner brick which is at the bottom, the water is 5/8 of an inch from the top rim.

I'm looking for something to take care of dust - a dust magnet... We don't have any alleries but we have plenty of dust...We've tried fancy furnace filters, mopping(we're mainly hardwood& tile) and vaccuming. We have an upright vac that uses bags...Maybe a better vac would help??? Maybe we need to get our ducts cleaned??? At certain times during the day when the sunlight shines through the windows, its amazing and discusting at how much dust there is in our house...Its just two adults, no pets...I'd say we're pretty clean people...lol. I've heard that some purifiers are basically a bunch of crap and others are rediculously espensive. We want something that sucks...the dust...My thought was maybe under 0 and hopefully rotate it around the house every day or so...? 1200 sq ft house plus full finished basement w/ area rugs. Btw, there is no dust in the basement - less activity and only two ducts..& one cold air return duct. Hmm. Anyway, like I said , I just want to get rid of the dust

I should add : These are the old ones that you use a rope to start.

You have a rope with a knot in the end and put it into the cut slot and wrap it around then pull it to fire the engine.

Hey, I was wonding how to clean my BBK Air Filter from my Cold Air Intake. Is it just washable with water or w/e, or do i need to buy oil and stuff. I know the K&N ones need oil. but i cant find anywhere how to wash the BBK. the Site just says they are washable. soooo does that mean it doesnt need special oil?

I bought a 77 cj5 and the carb is just open on the top with no air cleaner of any kind. The circular opening on the carb is approx 2" in diameter and i havent been able to find any kind of air-cleaner that reduces that small. Is there supposed to be a canister on there or is it supposed to be a tube (K&N style). Or maybe my carb is just a piece of junk that shouldn't be on there anyway. I dont need anything high performance for now, I just want it to run. Any help would be aappreciated. Thanks

i just recently got some performance upgrades done to my HD iron 883. i got the Vance & Hines pipes, roland sands venturi air cleaner, screaming eagle super tuner and dyno tuned. still have the stock 883 engine. the stock HP was 46HP and now i'm pushing 58HP. does this increase how many CC's my bike has? thanks for reading.
