I just bought a new house that came with a Jenn Air self cleaning oven. I locked the oven and began the cleaning process, but I completely forgot that I had stored a cast iron skillet and a cookie sheet in there. I stopped the cleaning process and the oven is cooled, but I still can't get the oven to unlock. If anyone has had any experience with this or has a solution, I would greatly appreciate it.
Bought used KX-60 and wont hold idle and the adjuster doesnt move the slide. Took the slide off extra carb and put in and determined that the existing one is new with no wear ans the old one looks like the right one but is wore slap out. Can you buy just the slide from the shop?
I have some room mates who insist on opening windows to circulate air. 1) I am allergic to a lot of stuff outside my california home so this causes problems 2) The AC air is filtered.... soooo can anyone give me a reason for needing to open a darn window if the air is cleaner inside and it circulates just as well. oooooh and they have fans in their rooms.

Just bought an older house. When we turn on the whole house fan, even with lots of windows open, some air is still drawn through our vents. This causes severe alergy attacks for my wife. The previous owners never had the furnace serviced, weren't the cleanest people, and had several cats. I can only imagine how nast all of the air ducts are. I cleaned out a couple of the reurn ducts and they were nasty with dust and construction debris. I want to have the system cleaned out well. I've gotten several quotes that vary pretty greatly in cost 9-0. We have a small home with a finished basement that also has heating ducts. I want to choose a service that will do a great job, but have heard that some do a much better job than others. How do I know what to look for, or ask for in a good air duct cleaning service?
My doctor told me I need to get my air duct cleaned, but I keep hearing all kinds of horror stories about air duct cleaners. Does anyone knows of a good air duct cleaner near San Francisco?

I guess I put it back in too early (even though I let it air dry for 2 days) and now it smells sour. I tried rinsing it again, but now it still smells. It is brand new! Any suggestions?
My 4.0 awd ohv is howling from the MAF sensor.I disconnected the junction btwn the air filter and it and sure enough it is coming from there.I hear nothing from the manifold area or IAC.It sounds like one of those phenonemas like rubbing a glass and making it humm but an altogether different sound.More like a fog horn.Any thoughts?All seals are good.

WAIT! Don't report this Q! This is a serious question. I am in business selling vacuum cleaners and air purifiers with HEPA filters. These filters are efficient enough to remove odors and fumes from the air, so can HEPA enabled undershorts really be far off? You better not steal my idea...
what kind of chemical can i use to clean a mass air flow sensor and i will not buy a new sensor unless a cleaner doesnt work. but is there any house hold cleaners that will clean the sensor on a mass air flow?
