I have researched different filtration systems and I believe that some of them may still emit ozone even though they don't specifically say. Has anyone used a particular one with an Umbrella Cockatoo and/or a Severe Macaw? This is a serious matter to me because I have asthma and I love my birds, so please, no puns or jokes. Thank you.
Im looking for an air cleaner/purifier for someone who is a smoker. I found some cheap ones at Wal-Mart for like but I am really worried that those ones generate ozone and not very effective when it comes to eliminating odor.
Im pretty paranoid when it comes to chemicals so I don't want to have any incenses and candles burned. I just need something that I can trust that it won't cause more harm.
Yes I know it sucks that my budget is low. But is there anything that can safely eliminate cigarette smoke? Something I can afford? Please tell me the make/model so I can get sth.

I bought a 77 cj5 and the carb is just open on the top with no air cleaner of any kind. The circular opening on the carb is approx 2" in diameter and i havent been able to find any kind of air-cleaner that reduces that small. Is there supposed to be a canister on there or is it supposed to be a tube (K&N style). Or maybe my carb is just a piece of junk that shouldn't be on there anyway. I dont need anything high performance for now, I just want it to run. Any help would be aappreciated. Thanks
I just came home from California to my house back in Colorado, it's been 10 months, and I have some crazy allergies or something. My mom has two dogs (pomeranians), but I have always had a pomeranian in California, but they are crazy allergies I am having, I am thinking its the air in my house or something??!!??
PS. I have the sniffles, and runny nose while out and about too, not just inside my house. But it seems worse in my house.

On the bottom of my factory air cleaner for my '71 Mustang are 2 metal spokes sticking out of the bottom. I know that 2 hoses are supposed to connect to it, one of them being connected to the engine block. What does the other connect to? When I removed it to clean, there was a about 8-in rubber hose connected to it but I don't know where it went originally. Help? Hopefully that made sense.

The hoses don't attach to the SIDE of the air cleaner. There are 2 spots UNDER it where they go. Also, when i opened it up, the Crank Case Vent Filter was inside next to the filter....looks like the old owner took it off and needed to keep it w/ the car. where should that piece go?

I drive an '04 Dodge SRT-4. In the manual under maintenance schedules it says both to replace the engine air cleaner filter and it also says to "Inspect and replace, if required, the the make-up air filter (located inside the air cleaner)"
What is the Make-up air filter? I replaced the main air filter and looked inside of it but there was no other filter inside of it.
